S.K. Leonard T. Smith Circle #4742 Oshawa - Gym Night

Every other Friday S.K. Leonard T. Smith has a 2hr Gym night. This past Friday, six new members joined the Squires in Oshawa for a fun night of basketball. It was a great time for the new players to meet the team, show their skills, and start finding friends by working together and playing fair. The energy was strong, and it was clear the group was close as everyone got together on the court.

The group is now more motivated than before. They want other Circles all over the province to start practicing and get their teams set to go. The Circle is now starting to plan a province wide basketball and floor hockey tournament for the Fall of 2025. It will be a fun time, and everyone will have a good chance to see how they play.

St Domenic Savio Circle #5217 - End of Year Spiritual Retreat

At the end of this Fraternal year, our Squires from circle #5217 and #1002 came together for a spiritual retreat held by Fr. Branden Gordon. It gave us the time to stop, think, and connect with our faith again. With a feeling of friendship and peace all around us, we prayed, talked, and made plans for what we want in the year to come.

With reflections, quiet times for prayer, and sharing thoughts with each other, the retreat let us think about the good and hard things from the past year. We felt thankful. Together, we looked ahead, hoping to grow more in our faith. We also felt more sure about helping others and leading along the way.

This retreat showed us how important it is to stay connected to our spiritual side as we move ahead. We ended off the day with adoration and a talk about the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
